05 · Cancellation of registration and communications
You may request closure of any account or registration by emailing datedoctordc@gmail.com. Closing an account does not automatically cancel a ticket purchase or create a refund entitlement. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link where provided. Essential transactional communications may still be sent.
06 · Links to other websites
Our website may link to venues, ticketing platforms, social media, and other third-party sites. We do not control their content, policies, or services, and a link does not necessarily mean endorsement.
07 · Photography, filming and media
Some Date Doctor DC events may be photographed, filmed, or audio recorded by us or authorized partners. We may use event imagery for lawful event coverage, editorial content, and promotion, subject to applicable notice, consent, publicity, privacy, and other legal requirements. Where a separate release or consent is legally required, we will seek it. If you would prefer not to be featured in individual photographs or videos, tell our team before or upon arrival; we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, although incidental appearances in crowd imagery may not always be avoidable. Attendees must not photograph or record others unlawfully, invasively, or in a harassing manner.

09 · Ticket prices and booking fees
Applicable ticket prices and any booking or service fees will be disclosed during the purchase process. Where Date Doctor DC cancels an event, refunds will follow our Refund Policy, including a refund of the full amount paid, with applicable fees. Third-party ticket sellers may have additional terms, subject to applicable law.
10 · Events, conduct and expectations
Event schedules, venues, activities, and eligibility rules may vary. Guests must comply with venue safety rules and our Code of Conduct. We do not guarantee any match, date, relationship, attendee count, or particular demographic mix. Changes, rescheduling, and cancellations are addressed in the Refund Policy.
11 · Website availability and disclaimers
We endeavor to keep the website accurate, secure, and accessible, but services may be interrupted or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties not required by law. You remain responsible for appropriate device and account security. We may modify or discontinue website features.
12 · Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or limits non-waivable consumer rights. 13 · General terms
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. 14 · Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Disputes may be brought before courts of competent jurisdiction in the District of Columbia, except where mandatory consumer-protection or jurisdictional laws provide otherwise.
