Our Refund Policy ♡

We know plans can change. Please read this policy before purchasing tickets for Date Doctor DC events. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge these terms, subject to applicable law.
See below for cancellations, rescheduling, and exceptional circumstances.
01 · All tickets are non-refundable
All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges because you change your mind, cannot attend, or are dissatisfied with the event, regardless of how far in advance you request a refund. Exceptions for rescheduled or cancelled events appear below, subject to applicable law.
02 · Rescheduled events
If Date Doctor DC reschedules an event, your ticket automatically remains valid for the new date. If you cannot attend, you may request a refund of the ticket’s face value using the instructions in the rescheduling notification email.
03 · Cancelled events
If Date Doctor DC cancels an event entirely, we will automatically refund the full amount paid, including booking, service, and transaction fees, to the original payment method. Please allow approximately 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.
04 · Extenuating circumstances
In exceptional circumstances, Date Doctor DC may, at its sole discretion, offer a credit equal to the ticket’s face value toward a future Date Doctor DC event of the same or lesser value. Email datedoctordc@gmail.com before the event with details. Credits are not guaranteed and exclude booking, service, and transaction fees. This does not limit applicable legal rights.
05 · Booking and service fees
Booking, service, and transaction fees are generally non-refundable. If Date Doctor DC cancels an event, the full amount paid, including fees, will be refunded.
06 · Extraordinary circumstances
Severe weather, public health emergencies, government action, venue issues, and other circumstances beyond our control may affect events. Cancelled events will be refunded as described above; rescheduled events will follow the rescheduling policy. We will communicate with ticket holders as quickly as possible.
07 · Ticket transfers
Tickets are digital and admission is by name. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another guest of the same gender who meets the event’s eligibility requirements. You do not need to notify Date Doctor DC; simply provide the ticket to the new attendee. Transfers do not entitle the original purchaser to a refund.
08 · Travel and accommodation
Date Doctor DC is not liable for travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred in connection with attending an event, including where an event is cancelled, rescheduled, or affected by extraordinary circumstances, except as required by law.
09 · Events that are cut short
If an event begins but ends early due to circumstances outside our control, Date Doctor DC will review the circumstances individually and may offer a partial refund or credit where fair and reasonable, subject to applicable law.
10 · Questions

11 · Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights or remedies available under applicable US federal, state, or local consumer protection laws.
